Chorizo pizza

Chorizo is the showstopper in this pizza recipe. Topped with spinach and mozzarella, all you have to do is enjoy!

  • 1 ball frozen pizza dough (340 g or bigger)
  • ½ cup (125 ml) pizza sauce
  • 15 or more slices Fantino&Mondello Sliced Dry Chorizo
  • 1 ¼ cup (310 ml) grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 red onion
  • 16 leaves fresh young spinach


  1. Thaw the ball of pizza dough overnight in the refrigerator or for 3 hours on the counter at room temperature.
  2. Use a rolling pin to spread the dough. For easy handling, sprinkle with a little flour.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce over the dough and top with the cheese.
  4. Arrange the spinach leaves evenly all over the pizza.
  5. Arrange the Chorizo slices on top of the spinach leaves.
  6. Top with the red pepper and red onion slices.
  7. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden.
