Salametti Vino Rosso brochettes with fresh figs, halloumi cheese and marmalade

These salametti vino rosso and halloumi cheese brochettes are easy to prepare. Just fire up the grill!

PREPARATION

Assemble the brochettes in the following order: one slice of Salametti, one fig half and one cube of halloumi cheese. Repeat so that each brochette contains 4 slices of Salametti, 3 fig halves and 3 cheese cubes. Use a pastry brush to coat the brochettes with marmalade.

Cooking on the BBQ:  Cook the brochettes over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes on the first side and for around 1 minute on the other side (or until the cheese is golden). Remove from heat. Garnish the brochettes with fresh mint and serve immediately!

Cooking over fire: Cook the brochettes over hot embers for 2 to 3 minutes or until the cheese is golden. Remove from heat. Garnish with fresh mint and serve immediately!
