Cherry tomato and pepperoni martini

Perfect before dinner, this martini will dazzle you with its exquisite balance between tomato, basil and pepperoni.

  • 2 cherry tomatoes
  • 3 slices Fantino&Mondello Pepperoni (or more, as desired)
  • 3 fresh basil leaves
  • 45 ml (1 ½ oz.) Quebec gin
  • 15 ml (1/2 oz.) dry vermouth
  • 30 ml (1 oz.) tomato water (see note)
  • 1 thin strip lemon rind (optional)


  1. Thread the cherry tomatoes, slices of pepperoni, and basil leaves alternately on a cocktail pick.
  2. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes, combine gin, vermouth, tomato water, and a basil leaf. Mix with a spoon.
  3. Using a fine sieve, pour the shaker contents into a martini glass.
  4. Serve the martini with the cocktail pick and garnish with lemon rind.



Tomato water

Set a colander over a bowl. Cut tomato in half and press lightly over colander to extract juice (water). Store tomato water in refrigerator
